As usual around lunchtime, we look at the live Bitcoin price and the prices of the top 25 crypto. In addition, we have an exciting Cardano (ADA) update, share trading tips, have news from India and see how Facebook is stopping.

We begin, of course, with the live Bitcoin price and the prices of the top 25 crypto.

Live Bitcoin price and prices top 25 crypto rise steadily

At the time of writing, the live Bitcoin price is EUR 34,1533.20 ($38,503.61). This is 0.13% higher than during our crypto lunch yesterday.

We also see a steady, but positive price trend in the rest of the top 25 crypto. The only exception is Cosmos (ATOM), which is losing 1.86%. The crypto with the most gains of the day is FTX Token (FTT), which is up 4.02% in value. Of course, you can also check all live crypto prices today on

Cardano (ADA) increases block capacity, is the price rising?

Today the developers of Cardano (ADA) announced that they are going to increase the block capacity of their blocks on the blockchain. This will increase the capacity by 11% and also expand the memory per transaction. This will make the app much more scalable. This update will be implemented on the mainnet this Friday, February 4. In the process, we are seeing more and more large investors expand their Cardano (ADA) crypto.

This could prove to be lucrative. Indeed, in the technical analysis below, you can see how this crypto seems to be on its way to a rebound after a 22.06% loss in January.

Remarkably, the market’s reaction to the news is modest for now. Currently, the live Cardano (ADA) price is $1,070. This is 1.14% higher than yesterday around this time.

Trading tips: Fantom (FTM), Decentraland (MANA) and Huh Token (HUH) can rise at lightning speed

Once again, crypto is tipped to break through today. According to analysts, Huh Token (HUH), Decentraland (MANA) and Fantom (FTM) may rise more than 100%% in value this year.

Fantom (FTM) is already reporting in the top 25 crypto

Of the three coins mentioned, Fantom (FTM) is the largest in terms of market capitalization. We regularly see the coin fighting for a spot at the bottom of the top 25.

Fantom (FTM) is a blockchain that operates on a proof of stake basis. This makes this Blockchain fast and cheap. Also, due to this approval method, the coin claims to be the most environmentally friendly blockchain. Thereby, one can also easily transfer Ethereum Dapps to the Ethereum blockchain through this blockchain. So the potential is definitely seen by analysts. At the moment we do not see this reflected in the price. The coin is losing 1.09% today at a price of $2.076.

As the other crypto currencies have not yet been spotted in the top 25, we will not discuss them further. You can read the analysis here.

No cryptoban in India, but tax…

With over a billion inhabitants, there is of course a huge market for crypto in India. So when a crypto ban was considered last year, it was a bit of a shock for several developers. Meanwhile, a final decision has been taken. There will be no crypto ban in India. However, they have decided to tax the income from crypto trading as if it were gambling profits. This will result in substantial taxes of up to 30%.

Facebook throws in the towel, no Diem or Libra

In 2019, Facebook firmly planned to bring its own stable coin to market with the Libra. This plan was mercilessly shot down by regulatory authorities. Later, they tried to relaunch and changed the name of the project to Diem, but regulators continued to raise objections.

They have since decided to pull their hands off the project. The project itself was sold to one of the former partners, Silvergate Bank of California, for the sum of $182 million.

Fraud alert! Malware is targeting wallets

To conclude our crypto update, we share a fraud alert. Researchers are signaling an update to old malware by the name of Mars Stealer. This one is targeting numerous crypto wallets. It does not matter whether these are linked to your browser (with the exception of Opera, where the malware does not seem to work) or function digitally on their own. The complete list of vulnerable browsers can be found here.

The developers are offering the virus for $140 on Darkweb, so there’s a good chance we’ll see some serious trouble from this. So it is advisable to get your crypto assets to safety quickly.
