Although Gamescom 2022 is only a day away, we at the editors are already inundated with countless fat trailers. In this article, WANT editor Dennis lovingly lists them for you.
It’s so nice that Gamescom is allowed to physically go on again. That was different two years ago. And the event goes off like a rocket. Sit back and relax: in the first evening (yesterday) and first day many new game trailers have already been released. Some are teasers, others are cinematic, but there is also a lot of gameplay. We keep this list up to date so you don’t have to miss a thing.
Gamescom 2022: the world’s biggest gaming event is back!
Although E3 in Los Angeles is an event with more prestige, Gamescom in Cologne simply remains the biggest gaming event in the world. Not only in terms of area (the halls are sometimes a maze) but also in terms of visitors (370,00) and 1037 booths, all coming from over 56 countries around the world. At least, it was; this year Gamescom is a bit smaller, but still gigantic.

As mentioned, it’s already a hefty list and Gamescom 2022 is still until August 28, so definitely expect more trailers of new games and even more announcements. In any case, it’s good that the event is now physically taking place again. Let’s go again next year; we miss the overpriced bratwurst, fine German pilsners, presentations in German, the huge crowds and excessive temperatures. Okay, those last three maybe not.
