Some traditions are impossible to imagine Grand Theft Auto without. Therefore, for us, GTA 6 is not complete if these elements are missing.
Grand Theft Auto is one of the titans of the gaming industry and 2025 will be the year of GTA 6. This series by Rockstar has been around for many years. In that time, many traditions have developed.
That the sixth installment (actually the sixteenth) in the series is going to blow us away is beyond question. But if we don’t see these traditions passing by, then there is something missing in the game. In short: we would love to see these things in the game.
These traditions should not be missed in the next GTA
Some “simple” parts of the series have grown from the first installment in 1997 into recognizable and much-needed elements of the game series we have come to love so much. These traditions we want to see back in GTA 6:
Excessive and (non-)righteous police.
In a game that revolves around crime, it makes sense to have police present to keep things in check. But anyone who has ever played a GTA game knows how excessive the police sometimes are. Not only does this lead to comical situations, but it has become a bit of what the games are about.

A little example from GTA V: You neatly obey the traffic rules – which is redundant – but due to an error in judgement, you tap your car very gently against a police car. Immediately the officers draw their weapons and police stars appear at the bottom of your screen. Yup, you’re screwed.
Chases to the hilt
With the excessive policing comes, of course, the well-known wanted levels. These stars that indicate how badly you are wanted have become the symbol of the GTA games. The more stars, the more intense the chase will be.
Precisely those chases are so cool. Especially if you have made it so crazy that the emptying is also used. This creates situations straight out of an action movie where you tear through streets at breakneck speed with multiple cars and helicopters chasing you.
Easter Eggs
As the Grand Theft Auto games became more modern, the worlds in which they took place became larger and more detailed. That meant more room to explore, but also more room for Rockstar to add easter eggs.

One of the most iconic is hidden in GTA: San Andreas. If you fly a Jetpack on top of the Gant Bridge hoping to find something, you’ll be confronted with text, “There are no easter eggs up here. Go away.” With how big GTA 6 is supposed to get, we hope to find more easter eggs proportionally.
Satire and embarrassing parodies
One thing that sets Grand Theft Auto apart from other games is its unique kind of humor. The games are known for parodying popular cities and American pop culture. The satire often reflects some of the harsh truths society faced at the time of release.
For example, GTA 5 has a media brand called LifeInvader, an obvious parody of Facebook. In the long period we have had to wait for GTA 6, numerous things have happened that lend themselves to parody. MAGA perhaps?
Fantastic radio stations
For a game where you primarily ride in vehicles, you might hope you can listen to a little more than roaring engines. Long live GTA’s radio stations. In many of the games, there are tig radio stations present in all kinds of genres.
No matter what kind of music lover you are, from classical to metal, there is a GTA radio station that is right up your alley. Often this music goes hand in hand with comical and absurd radio spots or hosts. It makes the world of GTA livelier while also providing good music. Many of the stations from GTA V have been turned into playlists.
