Anyone who has owned Hogwarts Legacy for some time knows that his or her character is completely customizable. Not just by the face or hairstyle, but also definitely by the gear you unlock in the game.
That gear is important, because it carries features that make your character as powerful as possible. Bit of a shame, because in no time you’ll be walking around looking like a clown first class. Fortunately, there is something you can do about that.
Mighty tip for Hogwarts Legacy
Those who don’t feel like walking around with silly masks or weird scarves in Hogwarts Legacy probably opt for lesser gear with a fine look. After all, let’s face it: those iconic Hogwarts clothes really do remain the way to go.
Personally, I had missed it for a moment, but you as a player can choose to take the best of both worlds. So you can put powerful gear on your character, while also having the look of a regular student. Really.
Press start and go directly to Gear. Pick the most powerful gear and go back to that menu. Move your cursor to the item, press square (PS5) or X (Xbox) and you will get to the Change Apperance menu. There you select the clothing of your choice.
Clothing retains its power, but simply gets a different look via this method. Party.
