Since Feb. 10, 2023, Harry Potter fans can experience the ultimate adventure. Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world game with a fantastic story, a magical world and a lot of challenges. It’s up to us to give you a little help with that, if necessary.
Fans of Harry Potter know it all too well: Hogwarts is a gigantic place. So it’s easy to imagine you running or flying yourself into an accident in Hogwarts Legacy. Fortunately, developer Portkey Games has built a Fast Travel option into the open-world game.
Fast Travel in Hogwarts Legacy
Happy: Hogwarts Legacy has a Fast Travel option. While we love being enchanted by Hogwarts, Hogsmeade and the world around it, the game does take a long time if you walk or fly to all your missions at your leisure.
Almost at the beginning of the game, Professor Weasley explains to you how to make use of Floo Flames, as Fast Travel is called in the game.
You don’t have to do any crazy stuff to make use of it, but you do need to know how it works for a very short time. A little tutorial:

To unlock Fast Travel, or Floo Flames locations you simply have to walk past them. Before you’ve unlocked all the locations in the game, by the way, you’re a beard or two away, but that’s all it is.

By the way, for those who want to find them, we recommend taking a look at the map. You reach it by opening the main menu, selecting Map and looking for tiles with the flame symbol on them.
You can of course just play the game to unlock them, but you can also search for them fanatically to be able to move yourself quickly almost immediately.
Once unlocked, you open the world map, select a white or black flag, and select the available Floo Flames. These are shown in green on your map.
