Hogwarts Legacy managed to enchant many a gamer this past weekend. The magical game from developer Portkey was released last Friday and manages to touch the true fan’s heart. Although most of us don’t even seem to enjoy the full experience.
You see, there is a magic setting that manages to drastically improve the experience of Hogwarts Legacy. A simple press of a button and you are more in the world than before. It’s like magic…
Hogwarts Legacy even better thanks to magic setting
Anyone who has played Hogwarts Legacy by now knows how magical the world of Hogwarts, Hogsmaede and everything around it is. Yet there is an easy way to explore this world, and especially Hogwarts, even better. As far as I’m concerned, the way true fans of Harry Potter want to experience the game.
Reddit user egyptianbeasts96 shared on the platform a settings that can make this happen. It doesn’t matter if you play the game on your PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X or PC: it works for every platform.
Hogwarts Legacy is even better to experience when the HUD and minimap disappear from the screen. This way, as a gamer, you are even more focused on the world you are in and can explore the castle as if you were walking there yourself.
To get it done, go to Settings, select Interface and look for the options Show HUD Tracking Icons and Minimap. Turn these two off and you’ll get an experience you won’t soon forget. Just keep in mind that you can always press the up button during missions, so you do have some idea where to go.
Lots to see (Image: Warner Bros.)
The world of Harry Potter
Since last Friday, Harry Potter fans have had the chance to make their dream come true. Portkey Games and Warner Bros. have released Hogwarts Legacy. A game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X and PC that lets you live freely in the world of the movies and books.
Not quite, as the game takes place way before Harry Potter. In fact, Hogwarts Legacy is set in the late 19th century. You are a student who is a fifth year student taking his first steps inside the castle as well as trying to discover the magical world.
Magic to the max, flying as if your life depended on it and experiencing an exciting adventure: it’s all possible. Wondering what I thought of the game itself? Check out the review below:
