GTA 6 will undoubtedly be the biggest game of 2025. A leaked photo of the game is causing quite a few rumors.
There are two big events that gamers are looking forward to in 2025: the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 and GTA 6. The latter game is already causing quite a bit of excitement among fans.
A new image from the hack from a few years ago has been posted on Reddit. This image is leading to much speculation.
New old images of GTA 6 leaked
Rockstar’s hack was one of the biggest game hacks in recent years. As a result, all sorts of early footage of GTA 6 hit the streets. The 18-year-old hacker Kurtaj, a member of the hacking group Lapsus$, turned out to be responsible. At the time, he was out on bail, having previously hacked technology company Nvidia. As punishment, he was placed in a clinic indefinitely, which is similar to TBS in the Netherlands.
Although the hacker has been detained, images of GTA 6 have now been posted again on Reddit. This is a photo that was previously online, but was later removed. Not much can be seen in this photo except that the game’s female protagonist, Lucia, is standing close to a brick wall.
At first glance, the photo seems to reveal little information, but now that it has reappeared online, it is causing much speculation among fans. For example, the containers in the background raise questions. Many people think the image shows a port or possibly a military base.
All of this highlights how much fans are concerned with the release of GTA 6. Rumors suggest that a second trailer will be released soon, based on certain clues fans say they see in videos or in GTA Online.
When is the new GTA 6 trailer coming?
Earlier rumors stated that the trailer would be released on December 27, but that turned out not to be true. Now there is a new rumor that the second trailer will be released on January 7, the day the Rockstar Holiday Sale ends. But as always, Rockstar remains difficult to predict, which only further fuels the hype.
What we do know is that GTA 6 is due out sometime this fall. Although games are often delayed, Rockstar has previously revealed that development is fully on track. Still, some uncertainty remains, as the financial stakes are enormous.
