New Xbox Series X update may take your console to the next level

Gamers with an Xbox Series X or Series S in their homes know that they can use dynamic backgrounds. While the selection is quite large, it is of course still nice to be in control.

If the information that sees the light of day is correct, then this will actually happen soon. Are you looking forward to the update?

More options with your Xbox Series X

The more control you have over your own console, the better. Microsoft must have thought so too, because the company is testing a new functionality behind the scenes. On Twitter, user Aggiornamenti Lumia, who previously predicted Microsoft’s work well, lets us know what’s going on. He shares a video of an unnamed project.

As you can see, there is a chance that your Xbox Series X will soon have a Dynamic Background Editor. Through this way you don’t have to use everything Microsoft offers you, but you can also create or edit your own dynamic backgrounds. The tutorial shows that eight different effects can be used. Although we don’t know if that number will grow in the future.

However, gamers are not only able to create animations and edit backgrounds via this way. It is also possible to upload various assets to your Xbox Series X, Series S or Windows PC.

When will the feature be available to use?

It’s a small addition that does allow you to make the Xbox Series X or Series S more your own. However, the question is when will we get to see the functionality. At this point, there is no word on that. In fact, Microsoft often tests new features, but does not always bring them to market immediately. So there is a chance that the feature is only for developers to use. So do take this story with a grain of salt.
