Nintendo tells you all about the Switch 2 on this

Price of the Nintendo Switch 2 possibly already leaked

While little is yet known about the Nintendo Switch 2, it seems the price may now be leaked. What’s up and how much will it cost?

After information was leaked about the Nintendo Switch 2, the Japanese company itself decided to go ahead and post a video online about the new console. However, a lot of information Nintendo is still keeping under the Mario hat.

For example, the price and release date of the Nintendo Switch 2 are still unknown. Yet a price has now surfaced at a store and so the whole world is diving on it.

The price of the Nintendo Switch 2 may have been leaked

The Nintendo Switch is one of the most popular game consoles in the world, but unfortunately it is quite outdated. Therefore, many people are looking forward to its successor, and this year it will be released. Although Nintendo has not revealed too much yet, it seems we will know everything on April 2. Then the company will hold a Direct, in which it will share a lot of information about the new console.

One of the biggest questions is about the price of the Nintendo Switch 2. What is certain is that the console will be more expensive than its predecessor. It makes sense, as there is quite a bit of inflation compared to years ago when its predecessor came out, and in addition, the new components in the device are also more expensive.

A price has now surfaced at Costco Canada. This Canadian store will be selling the Nintendo Switch 2. The pictures show a price of 499 Canadian dollars, which converts to 337 euros.

Is it correct?

That may seem like a low amount, but it’s $50 Canadian more than the Nintendo Switch OLED and $100 Canadian more than the original Switch. Well, prices in Canada seem to be lower than in the United States and Europe, for example. The Switch OLED still cost 350 euros at launch in Europe.

With a logical conversion, the price will then come to 399 euros, if this reporting is actually true. This makes the Nintendo Switch 2 cheaper than, for example, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The PlayStation 5 Slim without a disc drive currently costs 449 euros. The Nintendo Switch OLED will cost you 329 euros again, so even with that comparison there is plenty of price difference.

So we’ll probably know the real price on April 2. So take this leak mostly with a grain of salt for now, even though it may actually be the price.
