The best Xbox Series X games right now – April 2022

The best Xbox Series X games right now April

Although the Xbox Series X loses out in terms of popularity to a game console like the PlayStation 5, it has many advantages. For example, you obviously have the option of subscribing to Xbox Game Pass. This gives you access to exclusive games published by Microsoft from day one.

That way you can play some of these games. Yet the Xbox Series X has more than that to offer. These are five games that you can blindly purchase right now and have many hours of fun with.

Best Xbox Series X games

Elden Ring

If there is one game to enjoy to the fullest right now is Elden Ring. The game is a huge success and has sold millions of copies worldwide. If you have not yet picked up the game, you should still do so. The strength of the game is to be found in the fact that you can experience e so incredibly. Yes, the game is tough and you often die. But along the way you notice that you become stronger and better understand how to kill enemies. And then you really enjoy what the game has to offer.

Grand Theft Auto V

Yes, I’m including Grand Theft Auto V in this list. Despite the fact that the game is already almost a decade old. In fact, the game was recently released on the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5. Although the basis of the game is still the same, you benefit from several improvements. The most important is that the loading time has been drastically reduced. I really have more fun with GTA Online, because everything runs a lot smoother and you’re faster in the action. The game has a lower entry threshold for GTA Online. And in width the game looks better and there is more life on the streets. All this together makes this just another must-have.

Forza Horizon 5

The first two games are titles that were released this year. But honestly, outside of those two, not a whole lot of great titles have appeared on the Xbox Series X. Fortunately, late 2021 was pretty good. So in this list of best games, Forza Horizon 5 is a no-brainer. The latest racing game came out late last year and is still highly recommended. The game gives you the opportunity to tear through the world based on Mexico with a big load of fat cars. There is always something to do and you constantly want to be better than your Xbox Live friends. With the beautiful graphics and the music played through the radio stations, playing the game feels like a mini vacation.

Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite is another game that came out late last year. And thankfully so. The title was initially supposed to be a launch game for the Xbox Series X, but it didn’t become one. The final release of the game was still incomplete. For example, you still miss the ability to experience the story cooperatively. Despite that omission, it’s a very big deal. The game’s story gives you the opportunity to explore a large open world. In addition to the main thread you follow, there are then plenty of places to discover and enjoy. The game looks great and also pops very nice. The multiplayer is not to be forgotten and is easily accessible, as that part is free-to-play. So all in all, a game to really get into.

Microsoft Flight Simulator on the Xbox Series X

The last game in this list is the oldest title of the bunch. Especially when you consider that Microsoft Flight Simulator originally appeared only on the PC. Last year, however, we got a very successful port for the Xbox Series X. You can fairly easily do everything with your controller. And so you fly all over the world. I myself really experienced it as very positive that I could travel in a small plane over a metropolis like Tokyo.
