The biggest PlayStation 5 announcements during State of Play

Ghost of Yotei for the PlayStation 5
The biggest announcement of the State of Play was Ghost of Yotei. This is the sequel to the successful Ghost of Tsushima series and is set centuries after the events of the first volume.
The game, due out in 2025, is set in the year 1603 in northern Japan. It stars Atsu, a female samurai who must battle the Ronin.
ArcheAge Chronicles
Another completely new game that was shown during the State of Play is ArcheAge Chronicles. This game is set in a colorful fantasy world and seems to appeal especially to RPG enthusiasts. The game is action-packed and is scheduled for release in 2025.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster on the PlayStation 5.
One of the best PlayStation 4 games is getting a remaster for the PlayStation 5. In this remaster, you will see how Aloy’s adventure began. The remaster will be released on Oct. 31. Players who previously purchased the game will pay only $9.99 for the upgrade.
Hell is Us
Soulslike game fans can also look forward to a new title. Hell is Us is scheduled for a 2025 release on the PlayStation 5. This game is a mix of sci-fi, fantasy and horror. The player will explore a chaotic world full of mysteries.
Palworld on the PlayStation 5
Although the makers of Palworld may be facing a lawsuit with Nintendo, they are still bringing their game to the PlayStation 5. The game is now available, having previously only been playable on the Xbox Series S/X and PC.
New images from Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Finally, new footage was shown of Dragon Age: The Veilguard. This game, one of the biggest releases of 2024, received a new trailer. Let’s hope the final product is as impressive on the PlayStation 5 as the images show.
