These Xbox exclusive games are moving to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch

It’s official: exclusive Xbox games are coming to the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. But which titles are they?

A few days ago we had already written about the expectation of Xbox exclusive games coming to other consoles, but now it’s official. Xbox has announced its first four games that will be playable on the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.

Xbox did not specifically mention the names of the games, but did provide a description. Two of the games are “community-driven” games and the other two games are smaller titles. Still, sources have already figured out which titles they are talking about.

Exclusive Xbox games coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch

We have listed for you the first four Xbox games coming to the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.

Hi-Fi Rush

One of the first games coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch is the action game Hi-Fi Rush. In Hi-Fi Rush, rhythm has an important role. In fact, the character Chai accidentally gets connected to a music player in the story.

In gameplay, rhythm plays an important role as you and your enemies move and fight to the beat. Fighting to the beat is not mandatory, but it does allow for higher damage on your attacks.

Pentiment coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch

The second game is the 2D adventure role-playing game Pentiment. You play as the character Andreas Maler, an explorer from Nuremberg, Germany. During the game, Andreas gets caught up in a series of mysterious murders in Upper Bavaria.

The Xbox game is set in the 16th century over a span of 25 years. The player’s task is to solve the murders. In doing so, you use everything you experience through the game, from conversations to travel.

Sea Of Thieves

The pirate game Sea Of Thieves is also coming to the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. In Sea Of Thieves, you play as your self-made pirate and travel the seven seas along with other online players….

In Sea Of Thieves, you choose your own story. Do you want to follow one of the many Tall Tales, or would you rather seek treasures? Furthermore, you also have the chance to trade or steal other players’ treasures by sinking their ships. Sea Of Thieves is the perfect game for the pirate in you.

Grounded

The last of the four Xbox games is the survival action game Grounded. The game can be played from a first- or third-person point of view. In Grounded, you shrink to the size of an ant and must survive in your backyard.

In this backyard, you have to keep eating and drinking enough to not die, but you can also be attacked. There are spiders, beetles, grasshoppers and many other insects walking around that you have to watch out for. You can play the game alone, or with friends.

Future of Xbox exclusives

So far, these are the four Xbox games coming to the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, but we can expect other titles later. A few examples of games that people wish would not remain exclusives are Starfield and Indiana Jones.
