Stardew Valley has an awful lot to offer. This expansion adds to that with hours of new content.
Stardew Valley is one of those games that at first glance doesn’t amount to much. It’s a cute looking indie game in which you manage a small farm. Harvesting a little grain and milking cows, right? It may be a big part of the gameplay, but make no mistake.
Rarely does an indie game manage to rally behind so many fans with different interests. From hardcore gamers who make their farm as efficient as possible, to novice gamers who enjoy the atmosphere. This new expansion adds a whole new dimension to this already extensive game.
This expansion takes Stardew Valley to a new level
Stardew Valley has been around for almost a decade now and still every day new players find their way to the farm game. With so much content to offer, the game remains interesting even after hundreds of hours.

Still bored of Stardew Valley? The game’s creative fans are putting a stop to that. Indeed, on the PC version it is possible to download and add mods to the game. These mods offer a whole depth to the game. There are also mods for improving the graphics or adjusting certain mechanics in the game.
These mods for Stardew Valley are created by fans themselves. However, the mod Stardew Valley Expanded is so well put together that you really doubt it wasn’t made by ConcernedApe, the game’s developer. With this expansion, you can easily add hundreds more hours to the game.
New animals, characters and adventures galore
Stardew Valley Expanded adds an awful lot to the already extensive indie game. For example, with the mod you get access to: 28 new characters, 58 locations, 278 character events and 40 new fish.
Also, some existing areas get a makeover, you have a choice of three new layouts for your farm, and a host of new quests, objects, crops, festivalsre-designed vanilla areas, three farm maps, a redesigned world map with all the changes, new music, mission lines, objects, crops, festivals and many other additions.

Unfortunately, the mod is only playable on the PC version of Stardew Valley. Nevertheless, the mod is definitely worth playing with the amount of content added.
Waiting for the sequel of Stardew Valley
Stardew Valley Expaneded is perfect for killing time until ConcernedApe’s latest project takes more shape. For more than a year we have known that the creator of Stardew Valley has been working on a new game, The Haunted Chocolatier.
In that game, you don’t have a farm to tend, but earn your pennies by making chocolate and pastries. You also leave the countryside behind in exchange for a real haunted castle. That’s all we know so far about this new game.
At least until ConcernedApe comes out with a new update for Stardew Valley or more is known but about The Haunted Chocolatier, the mod Stardew Valley Expanded is there for anyone who wants to experience a little more on their virtual farm.
