Xbox has good news for you despite many delays

This year was supposed to be a very good one for Xbox Series X and Series S owners, but yesterday a small bombshell was put under that plan.

Because then it was announced that big games like Starfield and Redfall would no longer be released on the Xbox Series X and Series S this year. The big question now is what will be left?

Xbox still expects enough beautiful things

Fortunately, Phil Spencer, the boss of the Xbox division, has some good news. He states that it is difficult to make these kinds of decisions and understands that fans are then disappointed. But in the end, it’s important that games are given enough time to be delivered well. That’s a painful lesson developers learned with a game like Cyberpunk 2077.

At the same time, he also wants to emphasize that the goal is to release enough games for the game console, which are also equipped with the right quality. That way you don’t have to cancel your Xbox Game Pass subscription just yet. The big question of course is what that will be. Many studios are the company is busy with games that should come out next year. Think of Fable, Avowed, Perfect Dark and The Outer Worlds 2. The only thing that could come out at the end of this year is Forza Motorsport 8. Other than that, nothing exclusive is planned.

But what then?

Then, of course, there is the question of what will come out for Xbox Game Pass. It seems likely that they will mainly want to partner with other publishers to release games on the service. In this respect, you can expect games from parties such as Ubisoft and SEGA to receive more attention. I would also not be surprised if the new Call of Duty will be on it from day one. The company is going to give its press conference on June 12 and we will probably know more then.
