Apple TV+ strict Marvel stars for new movie

At Apple TV+, money doesn’t seem to be the problem. The streaming service is stringing Chris Evans and Scarlett Johannsson for a new movie.

The wind is in the sails for Apple TV+. It became the first streaming service ever to win an Oscar. We’re talking, of course, about CODA, the production that’s about and girl in a deaf family who wants to pursue her dreams. There’s more to come.

Marvel stars on Apple TV+

That price, by the way, doesn’t mean that Apple TV+ is sitting still. On the contrary, because the service is quite busy developing series and movies. Of course we are particularly looking forward to Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon with a true star cast, but there is more. For example, the streaming service now has a movie in development with Marvel stars Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans, reports Deadline.

Johansson, of course, we know better as Black Widow, while Chris Evans played the role of Captain America. The two are now working together on Project Artemis. Evans confirmed the news on Twitter.

Little is yet known about the new Apple TV+ movie. What we do know is that the film is about the space race in the twentieth century. So with this, it looks a bit like another production on the streaming service: For All Mankind.

Twitter won’t load because you didn’t give permission.

Very excited!!!

Investing in big titles

Apple TV+ has gone to great lengths to bring in the movie. It paid $100 million just to get the rights. Still, a lot of money doesn’t say everything. For example, Netflix smacked around with a big bag of money to bring in Red Notice with a true star cast. The film was watched briskly, but didn’t get too good reviews.

Chris Evans is not a new face on Apple TV+. The actor previously starred in Defending Jacob. The series managed to get high ratings. Another Marvel star we will also see soon on the streaming service. For example, Tom Hiddleston will play in The Essex Serpent. That series will appear on Apple TV+ on May 13.
