In addition to the many rumors about the features of the iPhone 14, the date of the corresponding event has been heavily speculated. Wednesday, September 7 is the date that Mark Gurman expected the whole party to take place, but is that really the moment?

Since the launch of the iPhone 13, rumors about the 2022 model have been flying around our ears. In the beginning the rumors were all over the place, but now most reliable sources are pretty much on the same page. So we have a good idea of what the smartphone will offer us and that’s why colleague Jeroen recently wrote the following article:
Four different models: that’s what you can expect from the iPhone 14 this year. Besides the regular model also the Pro and Pro Max will appear. The big absentee this year will most likely be the mini variant. After the disappointing success of the past two years, Apple is switching to a different concept. In addition to the three previously mentioned variants, consumers can also expect the iPhone 14 Max. The same as its little brother, but with the same dimensions as the Pro Max.

Indeed, in this article we focus on only one thing: the event surrounding the iPhone 14. It was previously expected that Apple will do things differently this year regarding the launch of its new smartphones. Usually the event takes place on the second Tuesday of September. This year we can enjoy it on the first Wednesday of the month. So as Mark Gurman predicted, September 7, 2022 is the day.
The bulk of the announcement will once again be digital, but the iPhone 14 is also already on display in Cupertino. At least, for a select group of journalists. We are also allowed to be there this year on behalf of One More Thing!
You don’t have to worry about missing the presentation, because you can of course also just watch it from the Netherlands.
