How to get more out of the Apple Watch Series

How to get more out of the Apple Watch Series 8 battery.

At the Far Out event, we weren’t just introduced to the iPhone 14. Apple also unveiled three new smartwatches: the Apple Watch Series 8, SE and Ultra.

Although the Series 8 does not seem very big in terms of upgrade, Apple has added a very nice functionality. The iPhone has had it for years and now the power saving mode can also be set on your smartwatch!

Apple Watch Series 8 with delightful iPhone feature

The iPhone has had a Low Power Mode for years, also known as the power saving mode in the Netherlands. Through this mode it is possible to get more out of the battery life of your smartphone. Certain functions are blocked and the screen is dimmed. Everything to make sure that your iPhone lasts just a little bit longer.

The biggest commentary there has been on the Apple Watch in recent years is its battery life. Demand for a power saving mode for the smartwatch was therefore high. It took a while, but the new Apple Watch Series 8 finally has that feature.

Through this way, for example, functionalities such as the Always-on display are turned off in order to make the battery last longer. A useful application that is not only available for the Apple Watch Series 8.

The power saving mode is available from the Series 4 and can be brought in through a software update.

The new Series 8, SE and Ultra

Although the iPhone 14 was the star of the show, the Apple Watch also grabbed a lot of attention. So besides the Series 8, we were also introduced to a cheaper SE and the new Ultra. The latter is perhaps the most interesting development, given that Apple is addressing a completely new target group.

The new smartwatch is incredibly robust, features a custom design and offers useful functionality for avid athletes. From walkers to runners and divers, the smartwatch should be able to serve every athlete.
