Since last week it has been possible to pre-order the M2 MacBook Air from Apple. However, keep in mind that you will have to wait a long time before the laptop arrives. You may have been there on time. But if you’re currently ordering a new Air with an M2 processor, you won’t be there for several weeks.
If you were F5ing the Apple website like crazy last week, chances are you received your M2 MacBook Air this week. But even then you could have missed out. It is clear that there is a lot of interest in the laptop, because the delivery times are not just days, but weeks.
Delivery times M2 MacBook Air
If you go to the M2 MacBook Air page on Apple.com/en/ right now, you’ll see it right there. If you choose the basic model, you should expect to be able to pick up your laptop on Monday, August 15. And if you have it delivered to your home, then you’ll be up and running sometime between August 8 and August 15.

Changing the configuration of your M2 MacBook Air doesn’t seem to have any effect on delivery times. So should you want to spend a little more on better hardware, you won’t have to wait any longer for it – at the time of writing. It is always possible that this will change, so keep a close eye on the(them) Apple website.
Takes a long time
That the specifications don’t affect delivery for the time being, that’s somewhat good news. Nevertheless, it’s a little bit sour that you have to wait over a month for your new laptop. We can imagine that you want to get started with it as soon as possible. With this delivery time you will be in time for the new school year.
In the United States, delivery times are a little better. There you can expect your M2 MacBook Air somewhere between July 29 and August 12. Delivery times there do depend on the configuration chosen, which is why they are so wide.
