macOS Ventura and iPadOS 16.1 coming to you from this date

It took a while, but Apple today announced when consumers will be able to get started with iPadOS 16.1 and macOS Ventura. The two operating systems will be available starting Oct. 24, 2022.

In addition to introducing the new software, Apple is also dropping the M2 iPad Pro, tenth-generation iPad and the Apple TV 4K today.

During WWDC 2022, we were briefly introduced to them: macOS Ventura and iPadOS 16. Unfortunately, it took some time for Apple to actually bring the operating systems to market. One reason for this was the introduction of Stage Manager: a nifty new feature.

Apple’s new products

As mentioned, the introduction of macOS Ventura and iPadOS 16 is accompanied by the arrival of a number of new products. For example, this afternoon we were introduced to the new M2 iPad Pro, the tenth-generation iPad and the brand new Apple TV 4K.

Whereas the former can certainly be called a minor upgrade, Apple is taking a bigger approach with the tenth-generation iPad. The American company is providing the entry-level model with a delightful facelift so that it fully fits into the line of tablets it now handles.
