Barbie may be the summer movie of 2023. Consequently, many people know their way to the cinema. Perhaps soon to the Apple Store as well, because the next Apple Watch is sure to appeal to Barbie fans.
The Apple Watch Series 9 is still a month away, and Apple’s new smartwatch promises to get a major update on the inside. The exterior is also being taken in hand, and that’s good news for Barbie fans, if the usually reliable Apple leaker ShrimpApplePro is to be believed.

The ideal Apple Watch for true Barbie fans
In terms of appearance, the Apple Watch Series 9 looks exactly like the Series 8. So that means the same design and buttons. However, the new watch does come in a different case, which is smaller than its predecessor. The big difference is mainly in the color, and that pleases Barbie fans.
The new Series 9 will have the following colors. The aluminum versions have the familiar colors of midnight, starlight, silver and PRODUCT(RED). That will now be joined by pink. For the stainless steel version, the usual colors remain intact: gold, silver and graphite.
By the way, that pink version of the Apple Watch is not a special edition for the Barbie movie. Still, fans of the movie can surely appreciate a pink edition.
What about the Ultra?
In addition to the Apple Watch Series 9, a new version of the Ultra is also coming this fall. The watch has some 3D printed parts, making it lighter.
