What items can we expect in the near future, what do they have to offer and how much will they cost? The five biggest announcements in a row.
Peek Performance: Apple’s biggest announcements
From the iPhone SE (2022) to Mac Studio, these are the major products Apple showed off at Peek Performance:
#1 iPhone SE (2022)
The new iPhone SE (2022) is a reality. The smartphone follows the example of its predecessor and thus adopts the design of the 2017 iPhone 8. Thick screen edges, Touch ID and a single camera system. At first glance not very impressive, but under the hood with the right upgrades.
Namely, the smartphone carries the A15 Bionic chip. This processor is also found in the iPhone 13 series and makes the iPhone SE (2022) a real powerhouse. So the smartphone is fast, uses computational photography and lasts longer on a full charge.

#2 Apple Silicon’s newest family member
At Peek Performance, the Apple Silicon family was expanded. Tonight, the American company showed the world the M1 Ultra. A System on a Chip (SoC) that is so powerful and economical that the competition can start to get seriously worried.
They could already do that with the arrival of M1 Pro and M1 Max in 2021, but with the Ultra, Apple goes just a step further. This is because the new SoC is the result of two merged M1 Max chips.
