The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Fold5 are only just out, but already we are looking at the next big releases. The iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra get a delightful update.
In terms of non-foldable phones, the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra are the two flagships. If they both make the same improvement it must be good, right? That is certainly the case now if the usually well-informed Ice Universe is to be believed.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max get the same feature
One of the major improvements to the iPhone 15 Pro is the frame. With the 14 Pro, it is still made of stainless steel, but for the 15 Pro, titanium is chosen. While not as strong as stainless steel, it is still strong enough. However, titanium is lighter, making the phone a bit more manageable. Plus, of course, titanium looks more premium.
Samsung seems to be doing the same thing for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, if rumors are to be believed. It too will get a titanium frame. So that means both the iPhone 15 Pro and S24 Ultra will have the same feature.
Ice Universe also knows another piece of news about the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus. This phone will have a 6.65-inch screen, while the S23 Plus still had a 6.6 screen. Possibly this has to do with the arrival of thinner screen bezels. Something also said about the iPhone 15 Pro.
Even more similarities
Moreover, the iPhone 15 and Samsung Galaxy S24 lines are going to be similar in other ways as well. For example, Apple’s phone will have a USB C port for the first time because of European regulations. Samsung phones have had that for years.
In addition, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will likely get a periscope camera. This feature, which is also coming to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, was also previously present on the S22 and S23 Ultra. So all in all, there seems to be just a little less difference coming between the flagships of the two brands.
