Artist uses AI to conjure Steve Jobs back to life

Steve Jobs’ signature worth more than two Tesla Model 3s

Rare works of art, historical documents or unique collectibles: in the world of auctions, they can be worth a fortune. That this is also true of an autograph of Apple founder Steve Jobs becomes clear this week.

Last week, in fact, a unique auction item surfaced with an autograph of Jobs. An autograph that should fetch such a lot of money that it is worth more than a Tesla Model 3.

Signature Steve Jobs should bring in monster amount

In an auction organized by Moments In Time, a plaque is being offered. A special one, because this particular model features an autograph of Apple founder Steve Jobs.

The auction piece comes from an Apple employee who worked closely with Jobs during his time at the company. After the employee, Suzan Lindbergh, worked at the company for ten years, she was given the unique piece. Including Steve Jobs’ signature. Truly a one-of-a-kind piece, in other words.

Theoretically, then, the seller could easily have the autograph auctioned off and flip a Tesla Model 3 for the same amount of money. The electric car, from Elon Musk’s company, costs about 44,000 euros in the Netherlands. So a second one for groceries could, in theory, also be…

What happened to Steve Jobs?

Steve Jobs died on October 5, 2011 at the age of 56 from pancreatic cancer.

More than a piece of history

Of course, we don’t need to tell One More Thing readers why that Steve Jobs autograph is worth so much money. The founder of Apple is considered one of the most important figures in the history of technology.

He was a visionary and an inspiration to a lot of people. He was not easy to work with, but his unique take on technology and design put Apple on the map like no other.

So a Steve Jobs autograph is not just a piece of history. It is a reminder of one of the most influential and inspiring figures of our time. Whether that is worth a sum of 46,000 euros, however, we will leave in the middle.
