The first Apple event of 2022 is officially a reality

The first Apple event of 2022 is officially a reality. The American company has just sent out the invitations for the event, which once again can be followed entirely online.

The rumors had been circulating for some time, but today it is confirmed. The first Apple event of 2022 will take place on March 8.

First Apple event of 2022 on March 8

‘Peek Performance’: that’s the name that the event on March 8, 2022 will bear. As with previous events, this edition will be one that is broadcast from Apple Park. Completely digital, in other words. The time of the event also remains unchanged. On March 8 you can enjoy everything Apple is going to announce from 19:00 hours Dutch time.

Besides the announcement of the event, the date and time, Apple logically does not release anything else. We will have to wait until next Tuesday to find out what the company has in store for us.

Twitter won’t load because you didn’t give permission.

iPhone SE (2022) and new iPad Air

That’s not to say, by the way, that we don’t have expectations. In recent times, reliable sources, including analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, have already released various information. We now know that we can expect both a new iPhone SE and a new iPad Air.

Thanks to rumors, the idea arose that Apple would use the design of the XR for the iPhone SE (2022). Ming-Chi Kuo says that this is not the case and that consumers will once again be presented with the design of the iPhone 7. However, the smartphone will reportedly get a faster chip, a better camera system and 5G support.

The updated iPad Air will get a few minor tweaks, including a 5G model and a faster CPU. Both devices will feature iOS 15.4 (iPadOS 15.4). The operating system is currently in beta, so it will soon be able to see the light of day.
