It’s a long wait before it comes, but when Apple announces the new iPhone 14 series it will have bad news for consumers. The company may be going to throw up the recommended retail price.
On Twitter, LeaksApplePro already knows about the recommended retail price of the new iPhone 14 series. It is notable that mainly the Pro models are a lot more expensive than the current variants. Although the news should of course be taken with a grain of salt.
‘iPhone 14 Pro (Max) significantly more expensive’
There’s a pretty good chance that Apple will throw up the price of its flagships, according to LeaksApplePro. The standard iPhone 14 will retain its $799 price tag, where the mini will disappear altogether. The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will both carry a higher price tag than the 2021 flagships. The former reportedly has a suggested retail price of $1099 and the latter of $1199.

Apple is currently considering this.
Production costs are increasing and there has to be more than a $100 difference between the 14 Max and the 14 Pro.

Reportedly, Apple’s flagship device will have a similar price tag to Samsung’s flagship device. The only difference is that for the same money with the latter company you get 256GB of storage capacity. With the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max, consumers can consider 128GB.
Cheap option disappears
So, should Apple adopt the above prices, the most affordable option will disappear. The iPhone 14 Max will take the place of the mini, but the regular model will not take over the price tag. Where the cheapest option for consumers is currently $699, starting this year that will become $799 again.
