Chances are pretty good that your old technology is sitting at home gathering dust. Fortunately, there are countless ways you can change that. For example, Pablo Rochat shows on Twitter that his old MacBook has been given a very special second life.
Through a video, Rochat shares his hobby project with the world. At first it looks like there’s just an old MacBook lying on the table. Until he flips open the laptop….
Old MacBook gets mighty second life
There are countless things you could do with an old MacBook. With a little creativity and skill, you can always come up with a new function for it. That Pablo Rochat has succeeded in the area of creativity is beyond dispute.
In the short video below he shows what exactly he uses the MacBook for these days:

Yes, a trash can. We didn’t see that one coming for a moment. In the comments under the video there are also amusing Windows users. One reaction says for example: “ah, so there is actually a function for MacBooks! If you have some spare space and an old Apple laptop, you might consider designing a similar garbage can.
Old technology with features
Old technology is kept for memories in some cases, but it doesn’t have a function in every household. A shame, because there are some really cool things you can do with old devices like MacBooks and iPhones. The latter, for example, can be converted into a security camera. Would you prefer a slightly more classic look in your home? Then you can always choose to convert an older iMac into a lamp or fishbowl.
Do you personally get warmer from brand new stuff? Then be sure to read the review of the Mac Studio here and the review of the iPhone SE (2022) here.
