It will be an important day for Chinese technology manufacturer OnePlus. This is because today the company is presenting their new Android smartphone, the OnePlus 11. But in addition to this big reveal, we can also expect a number of other new products.
The OnePlus 11 was already launched in China in January, but in Europe we had to wait a while for it. Today, then, the new device is being shown off with much fanfare during a livestream.
OnePlus is not going solo with a smartphone
Since the device has been out in China for some time, the specs are no surprise. For example, we know that the device runs on the blazing fast Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. This is also in the Samsung Galaxy S23, although that is a special variant.
Furthermore, the device features a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is also already known to have a 5,000mAh battery. How fast you can charge it in Europe is not yet known.

The OnePlus 10 Pro could be charged at 80 watts. This speed was only 60 Watts in the United States. The 11 can be charged at 100 Watts in China, and it is likely to be the same here.
In addition, the smartphone runs on Android 13 (based on OxygenOS 13). The company has already indicated that the device will receive at least four updates over the next five years.
Cheaper Android variant and more
It is very likely that OnePlus will also show the 11R smartphone. This is a cheaper smartphone with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. However, this phone is also likely to have a 6.7-inch screen and will probably also run on Android 13. Since previous R models came out only in China and India, chances are that we won’t be able to purchase the 11R in Europe.
The company is also going to announce the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. The earbuds have 11mm woofers and 6mm tweeters. To create even better sound, OnePlus has partnered with Danish company Dynaudio. Also, the active noise cancellation (ANC) is much better than its predecessor and can attenuate up to 48dB of sound.

We are also going to officially see the OnePlus tablet. Some renders of the tablet had already been leaked showing the huge camera on the back. The tablet has an 11.6″ screen with 2.8K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. It also has a Dimensity 9000 chip. However, experts believe that the tablet is likely to come out only in India. Most likely, the tablet will also run on Android 13.
