It won’t be long before we can officially meet the iPhone 14. Apple’s new smartphone series will most likely see the light of day on September 7. But which model should you actually go for when that time comes?
That choice is of course entirely up to you, but we can offer some advice. WANT editor Mark Hofman tells you exactly why the iPhone 14 Pro Max might be the best choice.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max
“I want to buy an iPhone 13, but is that actually smart?” That’s the question I’ve gotten four times in the past two weeks. Not necessarily from the WANT community, but simply from my circle of friends. The answer to that question is no. Why? I’ll go into that in a bit more detail in a later article.
In any case, it is wise to wait until the iPhone 14 sees the light of day. You don’t need much patience, because the smartphone will appear next month if all goes well. And when it appears, it is probably best to go for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Not because it is necessarily the best. Well, because the range simply seems to be greater.

Why is this the best choice?
Indeed, Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), sees a striking trend. Right now, manufacturers are busy producing the displays for the iPhone 14 series. Although these manufacturers are busier working on one model than another.
This shows that mainly the displays for the iPhone 14 Pro Max are being produced in large numbers. According to Young, this has to do with the fact that Apple expects this to be, in the coming year, the most popular smartphone.

So that benefits you as a consumer as well, as the smartphone is most likely to be more available than any other model. At the other end of the spectrum is the iPhone 14 Max which Apple expects the least of. So keep in mind that this smartphone will be the only one available next month.
