Apple announced the new iPhone 16 at its Glowtime event, but what may it cost?
Last Monday night, Apple announced the new iPhone 16. Despite the lack of Apple Intelligence, we in the Netherlands will of course get the new device. But what may it cost?
As with previous models, the iPhone 16 can be snapped up in different configurations in the Netherlands. What is the minimum you will spend for the Apple smartphone and what will it cost if you play the game all the way through? An overview.

Starting Friday, September 13, 14:00 Dutch time, the iPhone 16 will be available for pre-order. The Apple smartphone will appear in five different color options and will be accompanied by three different configurations.

What’s new in the iPhone 16?
The iPhone 16 has received a nice facelift. Among other things, Apple has given the smartphone an updated camera system, new buttons and a larger battery. The camera system is vertical this time, there is both an action button and a camera control button on the smartphone and the battery lasts longer than on the previous model.
The 6.1-inch display has a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits to make it easier to read outdoors, but with a minimum brightness of 1 nit, it’s the perfect option for late-night viewing. The A18 chip gives the iPhone 16 a nice boost in performance. For example, the 16-core Neural engine is twice as powerful, the 6-core CPU makes the phone 30 percent faster and the 5-core GPU makes it 40 percent faster.
Of course, the iPhone 16 leans hugely on Apple Intelligence, but we won’t get to see any of that in Europe for now.
