iPhone 15 Pro you can drop cheaper than the 14 Pro

You obviously never want your smartphone to fall, but if it does, you’re better off doing it with an iPhone 15 Pro than a 14 Pro, and there’s a good reason for that.

As you know, Apple makes the outside of their smartphones out of glass. The front is made sturdier every year, but the same is by no means true of the back. Being a simple glass panel, it is extremely frustrating that it can cost considerable money to replace it. With the iPhone 15 Pro, that’s thankfully a lot less.

Dropping an iPhone costs an awful lot of money

It used to be pretty easy to fix a phone. You could easily take them apart and replace a part easily. In recent years, however, this has become enormously complicated because everything is glued together. A simple backplate sometimes required replacing more parts, and these parts were also more expensive. With the iPhone 15 Pro, this is now different.

Apple changed this structure with the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus. Instead of having to take the entire phone apart to repair the back, these models were given a removable glass panel. This did not apply to the Pro and Pro Max. This really made a big difference in repair costs.

Unlike the 14 Pro and Pro Max, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max now get the same material as the 14 and 14 Plus. This means that all models of the iPhone 15 will have a back cover that is easy to replace.

Now much cheaper with the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max

And that really makes a significant difference. 9to5Mac calculates that replacing the iPhone 14 Pro’s screen costs $499, and that of the Pro Max as much as $549. That’s quite a lot of money for a piece of glass. By comparison, the repair cost of the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus is $169 and $199, respectively.

With the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro, this cost is now the same as that of the standard models. This means that you will now spend only $169 and $199 for these. Of course, that’s still a lot of money, but it still saves $330 and $350.
