The new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is likely to be released in January. Samsung has not yet reported anything about the device, but leaked images now show what we can possibly expect.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 will be the Korean brand’s flagship device. The company is trying to keep everything under wraps prior to its release, but images are already leaking out.
Perhaps the biggest difference between the leaked Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and the current S24 Ultra is the corners of both devices. The S24 Ultra has real corners, with those of its successor they are rounded. Otherwise, the new Samsung device has flat sides and almost the same camera layout as its predecessor.
S25 Ultra shares many specifications with predecessor
Samsung itself has not yet released anything about the device. The images in question surfaced on Reddit. Unknown is how the filmer got the possible copy of the S25 Ultra.
According to previous rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will get a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display. In addition, the device is said to get a 12-megapixel selfie camera, combined with a 200-megapixel main camera on the back. The telephoto lens will likely get 50 megapixels, as will the ultra-wide-angle camera, according to Sammobile. Many of these specifications are similar to those of the S24 Ultra.

The site writes that the S25 Ultra is likely to come with Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7 shell over it. From its release, the device can count on seven years of software updates. Under the hood is said to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, with 12 or 16 GB of working memory and at least 256 GB of storage.
This is how much the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra might cost
The price of the new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is still unclear, but it is likely to be at least above 1,000 euros. The cheapest model of the S24 Ultra when it just came out cost 1,449 euros.
We should possibly even take into account that the device will have a higher price tag than its predecessor, due to the Snapdragon processor Samsung plans to use. That chip would make the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra over 100 euros more expensive to produce than the S24 Ultra, making a price increase inevitable, according to Android Headlines.
