The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is a popular device. Logical, since it has many fine features of the regular S21. Now it may become even more attractive to purchase one.
For a few years now, Samsung has been coming out with Fan Edition (FE) versions of some of its top phones. These phones are a bit cheaper because they have a bit lesser specs, but have the most popular features. Last winter, Samsung came out with Galaxy S21 FE. Still, the phone is going to change a bit now and you’ll notice it in your wallet. At least, if you want to buy one.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE
As colleague Mark mentioned in his review, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was an incredibly nice device. However, he did note that the phone was priced a bit too steeply. Something that Samsung eventually saw, as the phone is now available for a considerably lower price. It can be even cheaper, because Samsung is now offering a cheaper version of the phone. So actually a Galaxy S21 FE.
The guys at Galaxy Club have found out that a new version of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is coming to the market. One that passes for the model number SMG990B2. The regular version is missing the 2, so this is a new model. It should appear on the market at the end of June.

Another version
There are some differences with regular version of Samsung. This one has Bluetooth 5.2 where the regular version has to make do with 5.0. The biggest difference however is in the processor. The new model comes with a Snapdragon 720G. This is much less powerful than the Snapdragon 888 of the current variant. Moreover, this chip offers no 5G support, so you have to make do with 4G.
The big question, of course, is whether you’d rather have this version, or just the more expensive one. Fortunately, the lesser specs will mean that the phone will be cheaper. How much cheaper, however, is still the question. The price will ultimately be the deciding factor whether or not the device is interesting.
