Samsung Galaxy S23 cites new design: what to expect?

Many people are already looking forward to the Samsung Galaxy S23. It is the future flagship of the Korean brand. At least you can expect a big change in terms of design.

What September is to the iPhone is February to the Samsung Galaxy S series. Around that time, the Korean brand always presents its new premium smartphone. There doesn’t seem to be any change in that this year either. What will be different, however, is the appearance of the Samsung Galaxy S23.

The appearance of the Samsung Galaxy S23 has been leaked

As is often the case with phones, details are out on the street well before release. This is now also the case with the Samsung Galaxy S23. Images of the device have come into the hands of the account OnLeaks and Digit.in. These are more often right when it comes to leaks of Android devices.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 is getting a striking metamorphosis in terms of appearance. As such, you won’t recognize the smartphone so quickly if you’re used to the S22 or S21. The phone gets a simpler and fresher look than its predecessor. It now looks more like the S22 Ultra, but with rounded corners.

Major change to camera

One nice change is that we no longer have a large camera block on the back of the device. Only the three lenses still stick out, giving a sharper look. Unfortunately, it is not yet known how good the cameras will be.

In addition, the Samsung Galaxy S23 is a bit larger than its predecessors. It measures 146.3 x 70.8 x 7.6 mm. According to the leak, the screen gets slightly wider bezels.

What’s going on under the hood?

In between is most likely a 120Hz screen. At the top of the Samsung Galaxy S23, we see the punchhole for the camera. This probably has a capacity of 12 megapixels.

Not much is clear about what is under the hood. Presumably Samsung is going for the Qualcomm 8 Gen 2 SoC. What is already clear is that the battery will be a bit larger. Whether that also ensures longer battery life remains to be seen. Perhaps the device will use more electricity.
