We have to wait a little longer and then we will finally see the Samsung Galaxy S23. Possibly this one will have an interesting update.
As it goes with a release of a popular smartphone, rumors and leaks all come out. Not all of them are credible, of course, but they do give an idea about what we can expect. This is also the case with the Samsung Galaxy S23. An interesting update is now coming to it, especially for people who are all too fond of taking a selfie.
Another selfie camera for the Samsung Galaxy S23
The usually reliable GalaxyClub now reports that Samsung wants to improve the selfie camera. For the first time since 2019, the number of megapixels should go up. Now it is still 10 megapixels, but with the Samsung Galaxy S23 it should become 12 megapixels.
That doesn’t automatically mean better selfies, although it does make it easier. There are cheaper models from Samsung that have more megapixels, but don’t shoot as good pictures. Of course, it also depends on the software. However, it is possible to shoot 4K videos with it.
This change applies to the regular Samsung Galaxy S23 and the S23 Plus. It does not apply to the Ultra, as it has always had a better front-facing camera.

The big question, of course, is what the selfie camera in the Samsung Galaxy S23 will look like. It is possible that it will be located below the screen, but there is no clarity on that yet.
Last month, other information about the Samsung Galaxy S23 came out. It is possible that the device will get a different processor. One that is specifically intended for the brand’s high-end devices.
In any case, we don’t seem to have to expect an FE edition of the S23. It sees no future in the cheaper model of its flagships. Above all, it costs too much hassle. These seem to be the consequences of the S21 FE that came about with great difficulty.
