It’s January and that traditionally means we can expect new Samsung Galaxy phones. Samsung has announced that it will present the Galaxy S25 series on January 22.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series should succeed last year’s Galaxy S24. In recent months we have already seen a lot of leaked information about the new devices. Samsung itself did not present anything about it until now.
In a video the company shared about the announcement event on Jan. 22 in San Jose, four phones appear to be on display. The obvious ones are a Galaxy S25, S25+ and the S25 Ultra. The fourth device is likely to be the S25 Slim, a thinner variant. At least that is what the rumors lead us to believe.
Artificial intelligence magic word at Galaxy S25
Everything seems to revolve around artificial intelligence with the new Galaxy S25 series, just like many other products presented by tech companies these days. “Get ready for AI that is more natural and intuitive. The next evolution of Galaxy AI is coming and it’s going to change the way you interact with the world every day,” Samsung writes.
There were already rumors of a presentation of the new Galaxy S25 on Jan. 22. So those rumors appear to be true. It is not yet known when the new devices will actually go on sale, and what they will cost.
We already know a lot about the new devices
Most of what we already know about the Galaxy S25 Ultra. That device, unlike its predecessor, is likely to get rounded corners and a slightly different design. In addition, information has surfaced showing that the device can recognize car accidents. It remains to be seen whether Samsung will actually activate that feature.
In this article, we have listed what we already know about the new S25 series. Just over two more weeks, and then we’ll definitively know what Samsung will bring us this year.
