Samsung has had a lot of success with its Galaxy S24 series, as the devices are selling well. But the Korean company thinks it won’t stop there: the Galaxy S25 should be even more successful.
Samsung came out with the Galaxy S24 series earlier this year. The devices are selling well, and it is expected that a total of about 35 million devices will be sold by the end of this year. If that expectation comes true, it will be more than last year with the Galaxy S23 series.
Of course, that is already very good news for the company. Bringing new smartphones onto the market that manage to lure consumers into stores is not as easy as it was, say, a decade ago, when developments in the smartphone world were still very rapid. Nevertheless, Samsung expects to be successful again next year: it estimates that it will sell a total of 37 million Galaxy S25 devices.

At least that’s what Elec.com reports based on its own sources. Samsung itself does not confirm this and reports nothing about the company’s expectations for next year. Logical too, since generally smartphone manufacturers prefer to keep that kind of information to themselves.
Many rumors have surfaced recently about the new Samsung Galaxy S25 series, which is expected to be launched sometime early next year. Changes we are expected to see are particularly going to be with the top model in the S25 series: the S25 Ultra. That device will have rounded corners, unlike the S24 Ultra. The sides of the device will be flat and the camera layout on the back of the device will remain fairly unchanged.
Samsung also expects to have more success with foldable phones next year. Of all the foldable models the company offers, it expects to sell seven million devices next year. This year it is expected to sell six million.
