The latest iOS update for your iPhone should be installed right away

Apple has released iOS 18.3.2. It is best to install this version of the operating system as soon as possible because it closes a security hole.

When it comes to iPhone updates, we often look at the latest features, but forget about an important aspect: security. Fortunately, Apple does not do that and fixes potential risks as soon as possible.

This is also the case with iOS 18.3.2. This update fixes a software bug that allows criminals to steal personal data.

Apple addresses major security flaw on your iPhone

The latest update fixes CVE-2025-24201. That sounds complicated, but it amounts to a software flaw that allows malicious Web content to escape from the Web content sandbox. That sandbox is precisely meant to block malicious code.

Criminals can exploit this vulnerability to install malware or find other ways to capture data. Apple was already aware of the problem and indicated that it was used specifically against targets on older iOS versions, particularly before iOS 17.2. This leak has now been closed.

iOS 18.3.2 and iPadOS 18.3.2 are the latest updates for iPhone and iPad, respectively. You can install them from the iPhone XS and newer, as well as on the third-generation iPad 12.9-inch and 13-inch. The update also applies to the iPad Pro 11-inch (first generation), iPad Air (third generation), iPad (seventh generation) and iPad mini (fifth generation).

iOS 18.4 brings major updates

Really big new features are expected in iOS 18.4, the version that brings Apple Intelligence to Europe. That means we can expect many new AI features on the iPhone soon.

Meanwhile, Apple has also released the third beta of iOS 18.4. In it, the company is already testing new features before the final version is released in April. One notable addition in this beta is a change within Apple Pay: users will soon be able to pay recurring payments, such as subscriptions and direct debits, through Apple Pay. However, this depends on whether companies support this option.

Want to try out the iOS 18.4 beta yourself already? Then you can install it through Settings > General > Software Update. Just be aware that it is a trial version, which means that your iPhone may be less stable and some features may not yet work optimally.
