What the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will most likely look like

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is the next flagship released by the Korean brand. But what exactly can you expect from this Android device? WANT editor Jeroen Kraak tells you all about it.

Samsung comes out with a flagship twice a year. In the winter it’s time for the new S series, while in the summer the Z series comes on the market. In that regard, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, the new flagship model, is getting closer and closer. So the rumor mill is also turning overtime.

New information about the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

Of course, we already know quite a lot about the Samsung Galaxy S23. The first information about the Android device already came out in September and November. This time, more information about the Ultra has come out.

To release the Galaxy S23 Ultra in China, the company must seek permission from approval body TENAA. To do so, it submits all kinds of information, and let MyFixGuide just found out about it. As a result, we already know quite a few details about the Android device.

Of course, you’re especially curious what’s under the hood of this Android phone. That’s probably a slightly boosted Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. While it is not specifically named, it does say that it contains an octacore 3.36 GHz chip, with 2.8 GHz medium cores and 2GHz small cores.

Disk space and screen of Android device

As in previous years, as a consumer you can expect different options with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. For example, consider the amount of working memory you want. You can reportedly choose between 8GB and 12GB.

Of course, the Android phone also offers plenty of options in terms of storage capacity, although that works a little differently this year. The entry-level model comes with 256GB. An upgrade, as this year’s model still offers 128GB. In 2023, you can also choose from 512GB and 1TB.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra gets a 6.8-inch screen with 3,088 x 1,440 pixels. Under the hood is a 4,855 mAh battery (which will likely be referred to as 5,000 mAh).

The camera of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

The list also includes specifications for the camera, but TENAA is sometimes wrong about that. If the information is to be believed, it is about a 108 megapixel main camera and along with that also a two cameras of 12 megapixel and one of 2 megapixel.

Those spoke of a 108 megapixel camera, two 10 megapixel zoom cameras and a 12 megapixel camera with ultra-wide-angle lens. Because TENAA is more often wrong about the camera, the latter specs seem more likely.

A release date for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is still unknown. It could be either January or February. So you will have to be patient for a while for the new Android device.
