The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is still months away, yet we already have a pretty good idea of what the device will look like. Spoiler alert: it’s not very exciting…
The design of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is out on the street. Renders are popping up online that were generated based on the latest rumors. But those who have already held this year’s Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra in their hands seem to already know enough.
The images come from OnLeaks, which is one of the most reliable sources on the market when it comes to Samsung phones. The images were created in collaboration with Android Headlines.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra design leaks out
It’s certainly not the first time we’ve already been allowed to admire the design of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, but from so many angles we haven’t yet seen the Android phone. At least, not if you’ve never seen the Galaxy S24 Ultra up close.

Samsung appears to be giving its 2025 flagship generally the same design as the current flagship. However, those who look closely will notice that the corners have been made a bit more rounded, which may make the device feel better in the hand.
Apple announced its iPhone 16 series this week, giving the Pro models in that line the thinnest screen bezels an iPhone has ever had. Samsung appears to be applying that tactic to its Galaxy S25 Ultra as well. This allows the South Korean company to offer the same screen size while making the phone slightly smaller.
Galaxy S24 Ultra vs Galaxy S25 Ultra
According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is slightly smaller and lighter than the current flagship. This may be the difference:
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: 162.3 x 79 x 8.6 mm | 227 grams
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm | 219 grams
Not much appears to change on the back, although IceUniverse, another reliable source on the subject, responds that the renders are a bit further from reality on that front. He says the texture of those lenses would be slightly different than currently outlined.
Backlash and specifications
That we should take the news with a grain of salt six months before the official launch should be obvious. Indeed, other noises have been heard about the dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. The thinner screen edges seem to be a fact, but there is also talk in the corridors about the same dimensions, but a larger screen than the current model.
Furthermore, rumors point to a 5000 mAh battery, a 200 megapixel main camera, 50 megapixel telephoto lens (with 5x optical zoom) and a 10 megapixel telephoto lens (with 3x optical zoom). In addition, Samsung would also use a 50 megapixel wide-angle lens and the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.
