Samsung is about to unveil the new flagship Galaxy S25 series models, but the manufacturer’s A series is also getting a new device. Images of that have now come out.
Samsung’s Galaxy A series is aimed at people who don’t have to have the very best, but want a fine phone. Currently, Samsung offers several models, ranging from the cheapest Galaxy A14 (around 150 euros) to the Galaxy A55 (around 400 euros). The A55 is the best model in the series.
That device is about to get a successor. The Samsung Galaxy A56 is likely to be released in March. New images of the device have now surfaced via Chinese regulator TENAA.
New design Samsung Galaxy A56 to be seen
The images show that the device will have a camera bar on the back, distinguishing it from the current Galaxy A55. That device, in fact, has three separate, round cameras on the back. It can also be seen that the power button, as well as the volume buttons, will be on the right side of the device. The buttons sit on a slight elevation compared to the rest of the Galaxy A56’s side.
It is not yet clear what the new Galaxy A56 will cost. However, it can be expected that the device will be roughly comparable in price to the current A55. So if you were planning to buy that device, you might want to wait two months.

January 22 Samsung will release the S25
The Galaxy A56 will get an Exynos 1580 processor and an FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 frames per second. Furthermore, the device will thus get three cameras on the back, with 50, 12 and 5 megapixels, writes Android Authority. With the device, Samsung will compete with Apple, which is about to present a new, relatively inexpensive iPhone SE 4.
On Jan. 22, Samsung will unveil the new Galaxy S25 series. Expected are a Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra. The devices will be packed with AI features. Furthermore, it is now known that at least the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be able to recognize car crashes, and will get an updated look.
