For years, Samsung has been presenting new phones at the beginning of the year. This year the Korean company unveiled the Galaxy S24 series, last year the S23 series. Recently, much has already been leaked about the upcoming Galaxy S25 series. But when we can start expecting the presentation of the devices was unclear until now.
Samsung is reportedly planning to present the Galaxy S25 at a Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for January 22. The presentation would take place in San Jose in the U.S. state of California. At least, that’s what a well-known tasty on X writes.
Samsung presents Galaxy S25 at the end of January
Alvin, as the X user is called, writes that Samsung plans to present the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra on January 22. Samsung also plans to present the Project Moohan XR headset. However, according to Android Authority, we don’t have to count on that headset going on sale from January just yet. A release date is said to be planned later this year.

Biggest change at the Galaxy S25 Ultra
The biggest change is expected at the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. That device, unlike its predecessor, is likely to get rounded corners. There is also likely to be a new chip in the device. You can read more about it here.
Samsung expects the Galaxy S25 series to be more successful than the S24 series, it revealed last week. Some 35 million devices from the S24 series are expected to be sold this year. The S25 series is expected to do just a little better with 37 million sales. However, this is an expectation of Samsung itself.
