Two songs on one smartphone Android 13 makes it easier

Hidden Android 13 feature makes life a lot easier

We still have to wait a while for the new Android 13, but from the first beta already shows us a lot of interesting things.

Android 13 is Google’s new operating system that will presumably be released sometime in August or September of 2022. Right now 13 is in beta version, which means there is a lot of testing going on. As a result, we are already seeing novelties that Google plans to implement in the operating system. One of them sounds like music to our ears.

A new feature on Android 13

Perhaps one of the biggest annoyances with cell phones is battery life. No matter how long it is, it is always too short for many users. Yet now in Android 13 there seems to be a way that you can enjoy your phone longer without having to charge it. This one has everything to do with the screen.

If you turn on FHD+ on your Android phone, battery life goes up. In fact, in Android 13 there is a secret setting that allows you to switch between FHD+ and QHD+. In other words, you can choose between a 1440p resolution and 1080p. 1440p, of course, takes more power, while you don’t always need that resolution.

The feature can be found in the new Android 13 at settings > screen > screen resolution. Here you will in all likelihood be able to adjust the resolution in the future. For example, if you are watching a video you can increase it, while in normal use you can turn it down to save battery.

Still in beta

By the way, these are not the only features found in the beta. For example, there are now 16 options for background colors. That’s double what we saw during the Developer Preview.

As mentioned, Android 13 is in beta. You can choose to put this version on your phone already, only you have a chance that not everything will be equally stable. This feature is only available for the Google Pixel. You can find more information about it here. Are you doing this? Then it is useful to make a backup first. If things go wrong, or if you would rather go back to your existing settings, then it is a lot easier.
