The rumors have been flying around our ears for the past few months, but the final announcement of the iPhone 14 is finally near. When exactly we will get to see the smartphones is not yet officially known, but an extremely reliable source already seems to have come up with the redeeming word.
Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman previously revealed that filming for the presentation was over. This could mean that the smartphone could be unveiled not in the second week, but first week of September. Three guesses what today’s news is….
When the iPhone 14 will see the light of day
In a new article, Mark Gurman, journalist at Bloomberg, lets us know that the bullet is out. Apple has tied the knot and decided to announce the new iPhone 14 on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. The first Wednesday of the month. Remarkable, given that such presentations usually take place on a Tuesday.
Who is Mark Gurman?
Mark Gurman is a technology journalist working at Bloomberg. He has been writing about Apple for more than a decade, used to work for 9to5Mac and is among the most reliable sources. He is anno 2022 mainly known for his own newsletter: Power On.
For the announcement of the iPhone 14 series, and probably the Apple Watch Series 8, Apple is using a familiar format. As was the case with WWDC 2022, the event will take place both online and physically. So a small handful of journalists will be flown to Cupertino to be among the first people in the world to get their hands on the new smartphones. The rest of the world can watch a pre-recorded video.
Gurman does comment, however, that plans can always change. The chance that the American company will do this, however, is small, provided that really major problems arise. So put September 7, 2022 in your calendar with a pencil.

Kickoff to a busy fall season
The fall of 2022 is going to be a damn busy one for the Apple fan. In addition to the iPhone 14 event in September, reliable sources say that an event in October is also planned. Whereas in that first month we’ll get to see the new iPhone 14 and Apple Watch Series 8, that second one focuses mainly on the Mac and iPad.
In addition to those two products, we also expect to see the new AirPods Pro 2 this year. Exactly what the earbuds will offer is not yet clear, though a major change seems to be left out. Want to know more? You can read it via the link below:
