1Password announces that it will support companies like Apple in eliminating the traditional password. In addition to the iPhone maker, Google and Microsoft, among others, are also working on this. Since 1Password is now part of the board of the FIDO Alliance, it will have more say in the direction of a passwordless future. With this move, the company hopes to fulfill a promise. And that promise is to “make this feature accessible to everyone” and anywhere in the world.
