According to rumors, the iPhone SE 4 would be launched this week, but that doesn’t seem to be true after all. There is other Apple news on the horizon, though.
It looked like we would finally get to see the iPhone SE 4 this week, but that didn’t happen after all. Fortunately, it seems we won’t have to wait long after all.
So is there no Apple news at all this week? Certainly not, as the company is going to bring out something about the Vision Pro and there is news about new MacBooks.
No new iPhone SE 4 yet
Let’s start with the iPhone SE 4. Mark Gurman reported that the launch would happen this week, but the Bloomberg journalist is backtracking on that. According to him, the launch has been pushed back to next week.
Apple is said to be holding a series of product briefings next week, according to the journalist, which should indicate that the iPhone SE 4 will actually appear then. The company never holds post-launch briefings, so that should indicate that the smartphone will appear early next week, according to Gurman. That will probably be Tuesday or Wednesday then, since Monday is President’s Day in the United States.

According to the same Gurman, however, Apple will announce something this week, though it will be smaller than iPhone news. What exactly it is, he does not say. In addition, we can also expect Apple Vision Pro news this week. It probably won’t be about hardware or a new model. So it will probably have something to do with software.
A little further down the timeline
Finally, there is also news about the new MacBook Air. This one will, of course, get an M4 chip. According to Gurman, it will appear sometime in the next few months. In addition, we can also expect the tenth-generation iPad soon, although it seems a bit further away. It should appear in the first quarter of 2025.
What is also in line of expectation is that the iOS 18.4 beta for iPhone will start soon. This is an important update, as it will bring Apple Intelligence to Europe. In addition, Apple’s AI will be added to Siri, giving you even more capabilities.
