WhatsApp has been working on adding filters to the app for a while now. This feature was first tested in several beta versions and is now finally available to the general public.
As of now, you can add filters to your video calls on WhatsApp. Several options are available such as warm, cool, black and white, dreamy and fisheye. This can not only provide fun effects but also make you look better. For example, think of that one day when you suffer from a pimple.
But not only your appearance gets an upgrade in WhatsApp, your background can also be customized. Don’t worry, it’s all about the background during your video call. You can now blur it (handy if your house is a mess), or choose from a variety of other backgrounds. This is how you make your video call more personal and lively. At least it’s more fun than a boring, white wall.
Additionally, WhatsApp is coming out with a feature to enhance your video calls when the light is not ideal. Touch Up and Low Light will make sure you are more visible even in less-than-ideal lighting conditions. This will make your video calls more vivid and allow you to see each other better.
