OnePlus has announced a new smartwatch. The Watch 3 will be released in Europe on February 18 and should be able to last sixteen days in economy mode.
We know OnePlus from the smartphones it releases. But the Chinese manufacturer has also made other devices such as tablets and smartwatches. Currently, in the latter category you can choose from two variants: The Watch 2R and the Watch 2.
But that won’t last long, as the company today announced the new OnePlus Watch 3. Pricing has not yet been announced, so we don’t know anything about that yet. However, the company has already shared quite a bit of information about the specifications of the new wearable.
Long battery life due to two processors
The new watch will have two processors. The combination of those chips should make the device last quite long on a battery charge. In power saving mode, OnePlus says it will last up to sixteen days. In so-called Smart Mode, the watch should be able to last five days. To do that, though, you have to turn off the always-on feature, according to The Verge.
If you do want to use that feature, the watch should be able to last three days. Furthermore, it is also already clear that the watch should charge within ten minutes for an hour of use time. The design of the watch has been updated from the previous model, yet it is still clearly visible that this is a successor to that watch.

Available in two colors
The new OnePlus Watch 3 will be available in two different colors. These are a black and a green variant. Through the tech company’s website, interested parties can sign up to stay up to date on developments surrounding the watch. You will also receive a discount, or have a chance to win a OnePlus 13 or OnePlus Watch 3.
The OnePlus Watch 2 cost just under 400 euros around its release. It is therefore to be expected that you will purchase the new watch for that price art. That makes it slightly cheaper than, say, the Apple Watch Series 10.
