Philips Hue announces these new things in addition to wearable lamp

Today Signify showed a number of new Philips Hue products to the world. The company did this during an online press event.

Among other things, we got the chance to get acquainted with the portable Go table lamp, Tap Dial Switch and Perifo track lighting.

The portable table lamp from Philips Hue

Those who have always wanted to take their Philips Hue lamp with them are now getting the chance to do so. Signify today introduced the new Go table lamp that consumers can purchase later this summer. The suggested retail price is $149.99.

The Philips Hue Go can be used both outdoors and indoors, without having to be near an outlet. The bulb runs entirely on a battery that, when fully charged, can be used for about 48 hours. For convenience, Signify has also equipped the new model with a silicone handle, so you can easily take it with you.

Track lighting and Tap Dial Switch

Not only the small table lamp, but also the Tap Dial Switch saw the light of day today. This is an accessory that can be seen as a replacement for your light switches. This model features four different buttons and a dial. Press the buttons to control different rooms and light scenes. Turn the circle to dim or brighten the light. The faster you turn, the faster it goes.

By the way, that’s not the only accessory we got to see. The Philips Hue Perifo is a special track that consists of separate elements. So you make it as long as you want and attach it exactly where you would like it. Not just on the ceiling, but for example also on the wall. Since the Perifo is suitable for use with various spots, pendant lamps, light bars and light tubes, you can arrange your room completely according to your own taste.

Philips Hue Xamento and get up with the sun

Does your bathroom really need a makeover? Then the new Philips Hue Xamento might be for you. This is a black colored recessed spotlight that is water resistant. In addition to high brightness, this model also offers you support for one million colors. You can of course dim the light and add a decorative centerpiece to the lamp itself, if desired.

That will be quite nice to see once you get out of bed all rested up. Indeed, within the Philips Hue app, there’s also a new daily routine called Sunrise. It doesn’t leave much to the imagination, but that doesn’t make it any less fun. Existing and new gradient lights can run this routine in a given room and mimic the effect of a sunrise.

This routine is automated, but you do have a say in it. For example, you can adjust the maximum brightness, time of day, part of the day, and styles.

Signify has clearly not been sitting still lately, bringing most of the above products to market immediately. Only for the Philips Hue Go table lamp and Perifo track lighting do you have to be patient.
