Merging with One More Thing, a new website and big moves on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts: WANT is completely revamping itself. With the current team, this is already succeeding quite well, but to really turn the plan into action, we simply need more hands.
At WANT, we breathe technology. The latest smartphones, newest tablets or the fattest electric cars: they get us hot. That’s why we want to draw as many enthusiasts as possible into our enthusiasm. So right now there are 5 vacancies available. These include one position where you will work as a permanent member of the team, two vacancies for freelancers and two internship vacancies. Here we go!

WANT seeks technology editor (website + video)
To join WANT’s permanent team, we are looking for a permanent employee effective immediately. Someone who will contribute 32 hours a week to the website, podcast and videos we publish online.
We are looking for someone who knows what fans want to read, what our young target audience wants to see on socials and can convey their passion on all our platforms (in self-produced productions and articles). So not only will you be busy writing the latest news, you will also write scripts for videos that you present yourself, among other things. You’ll talk weekly in our Freakin’ Nerds podcast, run your own productions (from filming to editing) and, together with the current editors, make sure that WANT is taken to the next level on the various platforms.

WANT seeks editorial intern (Full time)
If writing and technology is your passion, this is without a doubt the internship for you. WANT is currently looking for an editorial intern who can’t wait to tell our millions of audiences more about the latest innovations.
During this internship, you will not only learn how to tell the unique story behind each piece of news or how to get it out into the world as quickly as possible today, but also get to know the latest products. You will go to events, test new products and want to share the trends in technology like no other.
You will do this by writing stories on our website and finding cool angles for our other content such as the episodes of the Freakin’ Nerds podcast and our videos. You will write and edit these stories for our social channels, such as Tiktok and Instagram.

WANT seeks social intern (Full time)
Social media is more important than ever before. Something we at WANT know like no other. Not only because we keep up with the latest developments, but also because we storm the platforms with our content. Something we’d love to teach you and something we’d love to learn from you.
As a social intern, you will translate articles into catchy content for the socials, spot trends, be the first to bring the news, come up with interactive content for the Instagram and work closely with the editorial team for video productions. You give your input for ideas, design cool templates in the corporate identity and create content around our podcast.

WANT is always looking for freelancers in addition to permanent staff and interns. Are you a freelance editor with an excellent understanding of the current market and would you love to share your passion and create great stories to our audience? Then we are looking for you.
