These days, you don’t just use WhatsApp on your phone, but also on other devices. This is now becoming even easier.
Thanks to WhatsApp, it is very easy to stay in touch with friends and family. You sometimes get important messages, but often they are nonsensical clips and videos. Still, you want to receive both of those categories and preferably everywhere. That’s now becoming possible.
WhatsApp finally supports multi-device
Sometimes, of course, there are times when you don’t have your phone handy, or you’re just working on a computer. In the latter case, you can of course use WhatsApp web or the desktop app. However, there is a drawback: your phone must be connected to the internet. This is to maintain the (secure) connection. Yet that seems to be a thing of the past soon, as WhatsApp is finally releasing multi-device. A feature that the messaging service has been working on for a long time.
WhatsApp has been testing support for multi-device for eight months. As such, it has passed in several betas. 91Mobiles now reports that the messaging service has finished testing and that it will soon be available to all users.
With multi-device, it is possible to log into WhatsApp on four devices. Because this is via the web and no longer via the phone, you therefore do not need it to send messages.
This is how you use the function
If all goes according to plan, the new feature will be available first to iOS, or iPhone users. For them, it should already be possible to use the service without a phone this month. Android users will follow a month later.

Open WhatsApp on your computer using the app or website
On your phone, go to the settings for WhatsApp and click on paired devices.
Scan the QR code in the app or on the website with your phone and you will be paired with your device.
Now you can use WhatsApp on your computer without your phone being connected to the internet.
If you do not want to use a device anymore, you can log out the device from the pairing menu on your phone.
